Being Grateful

I read (and sometimes participate in) an online e-mail group called Cystic-L.  I go through phases and I've been on and off the list for probably fifteen years.  Right now, the list has been a-fire with many politically based postings, which are important, and do serve their purpose, but which I have found very tiring.

So, for the last week or so, I've done more deleting than reading, but there have been a few posts that caught my eye.  A recent thread has been asking what you are grateful for.

"I am grateful for every day that I have and for every breath that I get to take.
Beyond that, there are too many things for which I am grateful, to list here."

Thanks, Kathy.  I couldn't sum it up any better.

I don't take enough time to stop and smell the roses, and sometimes I'm not sure that I'm a very good person.  But truthfully, I am very grateful for the family I have, for the friends that I have, for the job that I have, and for the fact that I am a generally happy person.  I may not always show it, but I am always grateful for what I have and for the chances I've been given.
